I ordered a fresh air vent x and all went except for the delivery they took a photograph of a neighbour’s door two streets away and sent me an email suggesting I collect the item from Blueberry (Oxfordshire) I went there and was told it hadn’t been delivered so I went there a second time and collected the item. As each round trip was 42 miles ment that I incurred an additional delivery cost of 82 miles because the delivery driver couldn’t find the correct house. So you can understand my frustration!

Unfamiliar with sash windows and having to order some sash hardware for our builders to install, I of course, ordered the wrong items. After a phone call to SD Hardware and ordering the right stuff second time round they kindly put it in the post so I had the items the next day. They also asked me to return the original item for a refund which I have since received. Having dealt with lots of companies over the last few weeks during renovations I was most impressed with the way they dealt with me and how quickly they responded to sort my problem. Can highly recommend.

Not quite as sturdy or well made as the Fuhr locks but could be adjusted for the lower than standard French door I needed them for.

Very poorly finished and both different. One of the lifts is twisted and doesn't clamp shut properly, also the gap as would clearly be seen when fitted is much bigger with the spring showing.

The products are great quality , however I was let down by poor service especially communication. I first had to chase the order after 5 days to be told there was an issue with the supplier and the handles would be in later that week. ( originally stated 2-5 day delivery) When I finally received them , there was one handle missing from the order , with no ‘one to follow’ note or any explanation. So I had to chase this up again , to be told the supplier is waiting for stock , and will follow on asap . Had I been told this from the start I would have either chosen another style or tried to source elsewhere . Not very happy as needed to complete a small job , which I now have to go back to when the missing handle arrives !!

We bought parts for outdoor folding doors. Very good service. We haven't had a chance to install the parts yet, as we are combining this with refurbishing the doors in mid-July. We are happy to provide more feedback when we have done this.

Not convinced I have been supplied with genuine Cotswold window hinges. My other Cotswold hinges have "Cotswold" engraved on them but these do not. So, not too sure about SD Hardware.

I had tried, without success all of my local hardware suppliers and trawled online for hours looking for a specific door bolt. I had nearly given up when, to my great relief. I discovered SD's website and the exact item I required. The ordering was easyand I received the goods just 2 days later.

When I made an error in ordering quantity, SDH fixed it and refunded me promptly
